Scrambling to figure out a costume for your furry BFF?? Whether you are gearing up for a spooky Halloween party or just want some adorable and memorable photos, you want a pet costume that is cute and creative, yet easy enough to put together in minutes. We did some searching for you, and these easy DIY pet costumes are sure to please, but simple enough that anyone could pull them off (and they don't break the bank)! Additionally, most of these are comfortable enough that even sensitive pets shouldn't have a problem wearing them. 1. Beanie Baby Pet Costume
Is your dog or cat cute enough to be a Beanie Baby? It doesn't get any easier than this cute costume from Meowbox! We guarantee you have materials for this at home, and in 10 minutes your dog or cat can have an adorable, creative outfit for tricks (but mostly treats). No tutorial required!
Skills: Virtually none
Materials: Paper, scissors, markers (or printer), cardboard could help for sturdiness
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Costume
Cowabunga, dude! Transform your dog into your favorite heroes in a half-shell. This simple costume from Crafts by Courtney can be made with only a few simple materials. To create your dog's ninja turtle costume, just grab an old t-shirt or a dog sweater and a disposable basting pan for the shell. Then just get creative!
Skills: Simple sewing (or hot gluing)

3. Ballerina Costume
If your pet is graceful and elegant, she needs a costume to match. If she is a huge klutz, then she can ironically don this adorable ballerina get-up and get points for humor! 4. Piñata Pet Costume
This super fun costume from Mod Podge Rocks is very easy and allows you to get creative! Find an old dog sweater and hot glue colorful fringed strips of crepe paper or felt to the entire body. You can even use a small colorful t-shirt you may have lying around - just cut it to size, tie off any extra material and glue away! That simple.

5.) Lego Block Costume

For dogs who are a little more tolerant of dog costumes, this hilarious DIY Lego brick from Five Legs Between Us gets top points for creativity. This costume has the most steps involved of all our DIY picks, but even then it's not difficult.
While the original project used foam cylinders, you could easily swap them out for toilet paper tubes or plastic cups, and paint could be used instead of foam sheets for color (see picture above from petguide.com) .
